For over 20 years I’ve been specialising in the design, build, and delivery of large projects and digital transformations using Java. So if you need to ensure that your new greenfield Java project is a success, I may be able to help.
As a 100% hands-on Java backend lead; I lead by example, actively coding and building the services and apis required for complex journeys and leading and mentoring the team in improving how they engineer and deliver software.
I believe in code craftsmanship and agile engineering practices and like to work in a way that supports that. Presently I enjoy working in DevOps, as much as I do coding.
As a lead, I work very closely with the front-end devs, testers, architects, and business stakeholders to take new journeys from concept into production.
I believe it is my responsibility to do whatever it takes to make sure delivery happens, and I generally have the skills and experience to do that. If we hit a problem, I tend to know how to fix it and move on.
That is why I have 20+ years of experience in successfully delivering various projects across sectors, into production for many high-profile clients. There are live systems in banking, insurance, trading, risk management, mortgage, account opening, fixed income and open banking systems which I helped build.
